Sent the revised screenplay out to an actor today with the idea that he should attach himself to the project.
Have yet to hear from the cinematographer or either producer, but making waves in that direction, working tonight on a reshoot for another indie producer / production company I like.
That's politics.

When the above human being mentioned that folks constantly stopped by the editing suite - interrupting her work - with the hope of seeing the director, I suggested that this sign would eliminate folks coming in.

The United States sells Treasury bonds to finance its work; sells more when taxes don't cover the deficit, as now.
Individuals usually buy Treasury bonds but in the first quarter of 2004, 86% of those bonds were purchased by Asian governments - up from 47% in 2003. Bond sales prop up the value of the dollar but make our products less competitive internationally. My guess is, Asian governments will continue to purchase U.S. Treasuries until the cows come home to China.
China is now the No. 1 destination in the world for foreign direct investment, direct investment being factories, equipment, and real estate. France is No. 2.
Governor McGreevey has conducted himself as a leader should. My heart goes out to him and his family. His courage and politics, well done.
Marriage is the legal expression of commitment, social contract, duty, responsibility, privilege, rights. In the largest sense, what our culture requires is a renewed commitment to commitment. Opening marriage to free expression regardless of religion, race, gender and indeed more controversially - number - would only stabilize and enlarge potential for stable homes, communities and governments.
Freedom to decide for one's self. The pursuit of happiness. Stability.
Those things are what government owes its citizens.
Just sayin'.

The corn this year has been the best I've ever had.
It has been a year of fortunate timing. Was at my parents' for the first and last asparagus, the first beans, the first corn.
Will be there for - if not the first - then early tomato season as well.
It's been a delicious summer.

I disagree with Gaping Void's "Cash & Sex" theory.
Sure, I pay the bills with an excellent job. But it is a job that gives me 150 free days a year to do with what I please - if I am fiscally careful.
How am I fiscally careful? For one thing, I buy nothing but tools; for myself and others. I use the tools to create things. Synergy. Vortexes.
Which is to say that I invest in myself and others and in the promise of work.
I advertise.
Advertise not inexpensively in 11211 Magazine, the publisher of which has just launched his next venture, 10003 Magazine.
I consider myself a walking ad for myself.
Agree, however, with McLeod's "More Thoughts on How to be Creative".
"Pay More." For things. Buy quality. Support your repairmen. The other side of the "Pay More" coin is, "Buy Less".
Support individuals not corporations.
Honor. Dignity.

as veins, blood: consanguinity.
Weddings.
Weldings.
They made Ben Afflek's eye-line interesting in FOX's O'Reilly interview.
Affleck looking markedly 'up' and O'Reilly looking down.
In war, someone's gotta win.
New power technology brings new jobs - real jobs.
R&D, manufacture, testing.
All but nuclear energy pretty clean affairs.
Wind and water.
Next, we gotta think about water.
Pestilence, plague.
Plague spread by pestilence in standing water, docks (rats).
I'm just saying.
