Sandeep Junnarkar's Family Life Behind Bars is one of several projects funded through HMWV, an organization of videobloggers dedicated to supporting indie media through social currency and micropayments.

Checking the web site, I see that after two weeks, Family Life's reached 38% of its $2500 goal.

G'head, become an executive producer: kick in $10 or $20 toward making this documentary a reality.

Have Money Will Vlog's got another facsinating project going, this time advocated by videoblogfather Jay Dedman.

Project creator Sandeep Junnarkar is an award-winning journalist who wrote frequently for the New York Times, and is a journalism professor at the City University of New York’s Graduate School of Journalism.

Using micropayments in a new version of online film studio system, HMWV continues to help fund videoblog projects that burrow under our cultural skin.

Road Node 101 :: Parking Ticket?

This car got a ticket. We look at the ticket to find out why since we contemplated partking there. "Too close to the hydrant," it read.

John and I thought it far enough from the hydrant to be legal. We snapped and uploaded this photo, then left a note with my email in the event they wanted documentation of the legality of their parking job.

What do you think? Too close?
