This is always a bittersweet moment: the moment of completing principal photography on a project. Pleased to share the "sweet" part with you.

The deeper I get into the union film world, the more I see how small community it is. More than that, they stick together, year after year. The folks who've been doing film tech work for 15 or 20 years know one another deeply. Their loyalty touches me in surprising ways.

Mov files save out at about the same size as 3gp. Wish there was an easier way to transcode 3gp to mov from the phone to the web on-the-fly. Why? Because mov files are picked up by aggregators and that means they are seen. Seen twice as frequently as the 3gp versions. A not-insignificant difference.

Sigh.
