Faux Ads - Birth of The Faux Press

Nerve called for submissions of faux ads. I wrote a half a dozen, two of which were published in the Valentine's Day issue of their online zine - fortuitously in the wake of a tremendous amount of main-stream media coverage.

One of the tasks I set for myself as I learned how to love was to have my book published subversively in the mainstream media.

As one who has been quoted in USA Today (just after Bill Clinton and Maya Angelou, by the way) as having said, "I'm a living, breathing f*** you."
