Dance & Public Works: a Windows Media music video.
In order to be taken seriously by the serious, one must document one's work.
This is a dance rehearsal for "Faux Press Conference & Portrait Painting", performed twice in NY and in Kent OH.
Did a lot of street performance / art 2000-2001. This short documents that.
Revisit this material as I finish editing the footage of "Faux Parade", a street theater work filmed in 2000. Since then, I've had to acquire the proper hardware, software and experience in order to complete the editing.
The learning curve goes straight up sometimes.
Learning keeps one supple.
