I hope you're Okay. I know that you are going to be fine. But if you don't feel it, I want you to know that others feel it for you and trust you will. Love.
I loved the mashup. I am so impressed at all the creativity that is there. I am jealous. Yes I am. But I am going to be okay with it :-)
Thanks so much for your wellwishes, Otir. I was not feeling altogether well for a week or so (flu), and struggle a bit with triggers as I delve into researching the documentary on depression, but I'm doing just fine (apart from a wee bout of fever-induced self pity).
This collection of "Are you okay's" from MSM was not inspired by any of that. It was actually inspired by a frustration with writers. As I flipped through television's online offerings, I heard the phrase many times. Too many times. So many times I got tired of hearing it said.
Aren't there a thousand ways in which to ask that question? Yes, there are. But writers always take the easy way out. Give us something new, television writers.
That's what I meant to say but was too exhausted to articulate with the post. Better now. Yes. Thanks.
In the post-fever haze, the net mashup seemed as much political commentary as media criticism and so that's how I've characterized it.
Made a post yesterday on Seesmic that didn't get through. Gave up in frustration. I'll be back there soon enough.
