Blip.TV :: ShowPlayer :: Splendiferous

Oh. Yeah. That's it.

Blip gets it.

Their newly-redesigned show and other pages tempt me to give up all association with this Blogger vlog and relocate entirely to Blip.

What holds me back from transitioning are control-related issues, ease of entering show notes in text, and the idea of screwing around with a new RSS feed. The RSS feed thing is a dealbreaker.

POST NOTE: Aaron correctly points out in the comments that Blip.TV's RSS feed could be directed to Feedburner. Thanks, Aaron :)

  1. Actually, I had the exact same thought when I experienced the new Show Pages. If I start encoding my own flash to 29.97, I might just do that, because I need the extra fps to correctly show precise editing.

    They did a great job. I may start pointing people initially to my blip show pages and only cross-post to my blog after I get my allotted initial round of hits.

  2. I'm not sure I understand your thinking here, Mr. Cammack, in terms of hit benefit.

  3. I'm not sure what you mean about the RSS feed. You can reconfigure your feedburner feed to pick up your blip.tv feed without losing subscribers. Is that what you mean?

  4. Oh, Aaron, that's EXACTLY the solution. Thanks! Will amend the post accordingly.
