Working::The Holding Pattern

Sometimes, one must simply wait. We had a small B Unit, which is a unit designed to clean up those shots economically unfeasible for the A (or First) Unit to accomplish. B Units get the details.

Typically, B Units' work depends on what's already been shot, so there will be a DVD of previous footage on hand so B Unit can "match" what's been done already.

On this day, the footage on which our work depended would be shot first, and then we'd move in and take over the massive gathering of vehicular props to gather details. While that was accomplished, we waited in a nearby Starbucks for word that First Unit was finished.

Strange and wonderful.
