Faux Press Vlog: Childrens' Poetry
Reporting today in the guise of 'Auntie Jan' as I think of National Poetry Month and how perhaps there might not be enough Internet poetry content for young'un's.
This piece was a first and early favorite: Joyce Kilmer's "Trees," from "My Poetry Book: an anthology of modern verse for boys and girls," 1934 / 1956 by Holt, Rinehart and Winston, Inc., selected and arranged by Grace Thompson Huffard and Laura Mae Carlisle in collaboration with Helen Ferris.
The images began as an experiment in time lapse photography. A failed experiment I might add, since Maccam always crapped out after 15 minutes. Grrr.
