The Old In-And-Out
A sort-of in-and-out. While I cannot receive email or surf I can send email. So it's just "out".
Don't enjoy feeling out of touch on the road.
Even half out of touch.
The first day of production - while fraught with certain setbacks - went well. Only one scene dropped from the schedule. Apart from the genny axle break and failure to start, and the torrential downpour at call, why, the day went smoothly. There were those affected deeply by these events and certainly, the pre-call advantage was lost. But not only did we make it in 14 hours, but the food was palatable and copious.
Half the battle is won by that feeling of vested interest in the outcome, since key personnel have points and the company a reputation for making good on that obligation.
The other half is made up of a responsive and involved group of producers.
There is another half - and that is the script and casting. Got a brief first look at the chemistry of our principals yesterday and they are precious together. This is good news for all of us.
That makes 150% and yes, that's about right.
